Welcome to Trans-Pangea!The Trans-Pangea sub-group is Denmark’s International community for the gender variant. Transgender Danes ( from the T-Gruppe) and Foreigners ( from Pangea) come together to our meetings for evenings of support, activism and fun. We are working on raising awareness in Denmark about transfolk by becoming more visible, compiling educational information, holding workshops and participating in political activities to improve civil rights and healthcare for Transpeople. We offer a network of support and friendship for anyone questioning their gender, thinking about transitioning, transitioning or post-transition. We also welcome the family, friends and partners of Transpeople. While there are generally 3 main types of transgender people: MTF (male to female): born male but see themselves as partly to fully feminine. FTM (female to male): born female but see themselves as partly to fully masculine. Genderqueer: born with any sexual physiology, choosing not to identify as male or female. Gender variations can include many different descriptions: Drag Queen: Female-emulating male, usually campy, often (not always) gay.
