International work

The international work in the youth division of LGBT Denmark (LGBT Ungdom) is a relatively new chapter that holds many possibilities. The work it self is still in the start-up phase where anyone with an interest in working international is welcome to participate, as long as they are members of LGBT Ungdom.

Exchange Group

The Exchange Group is a trial of trying to gather a group of young people with an interest in working with an international LGBT-agenda. The group has the job of deciding the international line of LGBT Ungdom.

LGBT-rights in Europe

Many of the countries in Europe, especially Eastern Europe are still very repressed as regards to LGBT persons and their human rights. This clearly states at pride parades and LGBT conferences in the countries. To help overcome these problems LGBT Danmark-Ungdom is planning on gathering a group of young people, which will get the task of visiting the different pride parades and conferences where there are problems with violence and assaults. LGBT Danmark-Ungdom is hoping to raise attention about these issues and to secure a more save environment for the local LGBT persons by making these “international house calls”.
